Hello from beautiful Thomas Point Beach!
Welcome ... and Thank you for your interest in holding your summer outing here. We hope you find the following information helpful in planning your outing.
If you are sponsoring a large fundraiser or public event and are seeking to find the perfect venue, Thomas Point Beach may be just the pleace you are looking for. Please call our office directly at 1/207-725-6009 for details. The Park is able to accommodate events up 15,000 people. Includes water, plenty of electricity throughout the grounds, rest room facilities, on site parking, camping facility, bandstand and more!

We are currently booking for the 2010 Season. At this time, all dates are available with the exception September 12.
Thomas Point Beach is a privately owned and operated 85 + acre Park, conveniently located just off Route #24 at Cook’s Corner in Brunswick, Maine. We take pride in noting that we have been a family owned and operated business since 1956. The Park is open to the Public from May through mid-October from 9:00 AM ‘til Sunset daily.
We offer: three large, clean Bath Houses with changing areas as well as; Outside Showers and Rest Room facilities. Lifeguards on duty at the beach front; a large, safe Playground; three open Softball Areas; Public Volleyball; Camping accommodations, and not to forget the acres of beautifully groomed Lawns and Pine Groves! Horseshoe play areas may be set up in our groves among the beautiful Pines for your gaming pleasure. Permanent horseshoe pits are not avaliable within the Park. We do request that pits not be set up on the lawns. Over 400 Picnic Tables and Fireplaces are available throughout the grounds, however we do recommend arranging for adequate seating for parties of 100 or more.
Our "Loose Caboose" offers limited food and beverages as well as various picnic and camping needs. The Caboose is open daily for our guests convenience. The Park’s Main Lodge houses a large Game Room full of Arcade pieces for the child in all of us. The Arcade is open daily.
When planning for your beverages, we request "No Glass" containers. Cans and plastic cups are favored for our bare foot beach goers!
We also follow the "Take In, Take Out" Maine State Policy for trash. Reduce, ReUse, Recycle...Whenever possible. It does the earth good!
Groups with reservations are able to contract their own independent caterers and entertainment. Tents are always welcome here, whether it be shelter from the brilliant afternoon sun or the occassional summer shower. There is also a beautiful, large and open room available for rent, housed in our Main Lodge, located by the beachfront. Whatever your specific outing needs may be, we are here to make your summer outing or event be everything you dreamed it to be.
Numerous companies hold annual outings with Lobster Bakes and Bar-B-Ques here for their employees and guests; as well as private family reunions, clubs, church picnics, scouts, weddings and receptions and lots more... The Park can accommodate groups ranging from 50 people to 8,000 people comfortably. Some of our excellent references include the Bath Iron Works, Bath/Brunswick Chamber of Commerce, Maine Teamsters Union, Times Record Newspapers, Warner Brothers, The Saint Andrews Society of Maine, Maine Arts, Inc., The Girl and Boy Scouts of America, Governor Joseph Brennan and Governor Angus King.
If you or your group wish to hold your "special summertime outing" here this season, it’s easy to do. All we need to know is:

The approximate SIZE of your group expected to attend.

Will the outing be CATERED or will you be doing your own cooking?

The DATE that you wish to have the outing and a possible alternate date, should this not be available.

How would you like to handle the METHOD OF ADMISSION PAYMENT? Admission Fees of $2.00 per Child under 12 years of age and $3.50 for Adults are our standard fees which are charged to everyone, whether they have a reservation or not, and may be paid individually at the gate or; if the company or group wants to take care of the total admission fee, then a ticket system is used. If a ticket is used, you would provide each of your guests with a ticket the size of a business card. This would then need the Company Name, Date of the Outing and marked either “Adult Admission” or “Child Admission” for each ticket holder. These tickets would be turned in at the Entrance Gate for admission individually. The tickets would then be totaled and the actual fees due would be billed to the company after the party is held.
Once we have established the above, we can quickly and easily make a Reservation for you. Depending on your needs, we can arrange for a variety of areas offering Sun or Shade, groves or open lawns, locations for caterers, electrical sources for PA Systems or Bands, Ball Fields, etc. Other services that are available include: the use of tents (Company listing available), Caterers Listing. The Park also has Wood, Ice, Cold Drinks, Ice Cream and Food Services on Premises. A large bandstand located by the beach front is also available for rental for those needing one. Camping in the Park is $22.00 per site per night, without electric, $27.00 including electric. We do request reservations for overnight camping.
RESERVATION CHARGES AND FEES ~ Our standard ADMISSION FEES are charged to everyone, with or without a reservation ($2.00 for Children under 12 years of age and $3.50 per Adult). Admission Fees may be handled by an individual or ticket basis. RESERVATION FEES are determined by the number of people your are expecting to attend your outing and the size of the area you require. Our Reservation Fees start at $100.00 for a group of 50 people or less, and range to $375.00 for an entire field which will accommodate 500-600 people, with their automobiles. THESE ARE THE ONLY TWO FEES (Admission and Reservation) you will be charged when making a reservation at Thomas Point. The Reservation Fee will include: Guarantee of your location for the date of your choice from 9:00 AM ‘til Sunset, Allow for Parking Space within your site, Tables, Fireplace, Clean-up and allow for ample Game Area for your guests. Your area will be easily recognizable to your guests by a sign with your groups name at the site location. This fee also takes care of general clean-up, however, if your outing is professionally catered, we do request that the caterer remove whatever trash possible. We follow the same “Take In, Take Out” Trash Policy used by the State of Maine. Reservation Fees are to be received within two weeks of the date of booking, to confirm the date.
Should you wish to rent the Main Lodge for the day, please inquire for details and availability. A separate fee is required.
