Beautiful Thomas Point Beach, just off Route 24 in Brunswick, has much more to offer than just a day in the sun! Thomas Point Beach offers individuals, families, and groups of all sizes, a variety of exciting summer happenings. Here you will find a clean, sandy beach on tidal water overlooking relaxing Thomas Bay.

There’s a large, safe Playground Area available for kids of all ages. Also featured are 85 acres of beautiful lawns and picnic groves with areas to play Volleyball, Softball, and your favorite summertime games. Camping is very popular for local residents as well as people from all over the world.

Thomas Point Beach is ready to accommodate Family Picnics, Company Outings of all sizes, Reunions, School field trips, Weddings and Receptions, Private and Public Events, as well as Sports and Camping enthusiasts.

Thomas Point is the perfect place for SPECIAL EVENTS of all kinds. We have been the home site for the annual Maine Highland Games, 40 years of our famous Bluegrass Festival, the Maine Arts Festival, Car Shows, Craft Shows, Radio Station Parties, Special Olympics, the Circus, events of all kinds and sizes. Please note: Our campground guarantees 20amp electrical service only.  Additionally, electricity is served from “communal distribution points” throughout the campground.  These points are close to designated “Electric Sites,” but be aware that you may need up to 50ft of extension cord depending on which site you reserve.  We may be able to offer 30amp service by request only, and only as available.

Also note that we do not offer per-site water or septic.  Our Park contains several Water Fill-Stations, as well as a Dump Station, which is across from the Shower Building in the Main Grove.

Closed from August 23rd to September 2nd

PUBLIC NOTICE: Thomas Point Beach and Campground will be closed to the Public from Friday, August 23rd, to Monday, September 2nd. BUT WAIT! It’s the “good” kind of closed, we are having our Annual Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival! We will not be accepting or processing camping reservations for or on these dates, and our ability to take calls for the Park will be limited. If you have questions for the park, please understand that we will not be able to handle standard Park and Campground calls until Monday, September 3rd. Multi-Day Tickets for the Festival are currently sold out, however we do have some Single-Day Tickets available on the Bluegrass Festival Website as well as at the gate, on the dates of August 28th through the September 1st. Additionally, we MAY be able to make some Multi-Day Tickets available at the gate for day-of arrival. To stay up to date on availability for the Festival, please follow Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival for daily updates starting Wednesday, August 28th. We wish you a Happy and Healthy Holidays!

We know the holidays are traditionally a time spent with family and loved ones, and we appreciate that this year may not look quite like years past.  However, we want you to know that while you think about spending time with those you love, we are thinking of spending time with all of you! We are working diligently to make 2021 a year worth looking forward to. We are working on a full line up of events and outings this season, and we are using the knowledge we gained in 2020, to make 2021 safe, healthy, and a memory-maker. We are excited to announce that we will be opening ticket sales for the 2021 Bluegrass Festival in January, and would be delighted to see you, happy and healthy, in 9 short months. A quick Note on Upcoming Events

Fresh off the heels of the very encouraging success of the Green Woods Roots & Culture Drive-In Concert last weekend, we at Thomas Point Beach and Campground are beyond excited to announce that there is more where that came from! With that in mind, we want to preemptively inform customers and campers that we have two NEW upcoming events on August 15th, 2020, and on August 21st and 22nd, 2020. These two events are being handled differently from each other: For the Oceanside Drive-In Concert by Avenue Media on August 15th, the park admission will be $25 for patrons 11 years old and over (under 11 free) and $10 for car access proper. “Car Access” refers to a vehicles entrance into the head of the park (center circle). This date is a Drive-In Concert, and as such, entrance into the head of the park will be by vehicle only. For the Grateful Camp Out Concert on August 21st and 22nd, the head of our park will be closed to the public except for customers who have purchased tickets to the event.
