Because we are dedicated to your safety and enjoyment, we ask that you do your part in following our simple park policies.


SPEED LIMIT ~ is 5 MPH in the Park. No person shall operate any vehicle in a reckless manner or while under any influences. Only licensed drivers on the Park grounds. Do not block roadways. Your complete cooperation is required.

FIRES ~ Campfires are allowed in fireplace/rings ONLY. NEVER leave your fire unattended. Do not place hot coals in the trash barrels or on the ground.

LITTER CONTROL ~ In cooperation with the State of Maine, we practice the “Carry In, Carry Out” Policy. Please take out what litter you bring in. It really helps! Trash barrels are maintained throughout the Park.

MOTORCYCLES, SKATEBOARDS, ROLLER BLADES, ROLLER SKATES, SCOOTERS, METAL DETECTORS ~ We are sorry, but for the safety and well-being of all concerned, their use is prohibited.

BICYCLES ~ Must be ridden with care and courtesy. Bicycles are not allowed in the Park during Special Public Events.

ALCOHOL ~ Restricted to your personal site only. Use not to be abused. NEVER visible. No glass containers. Poor conduct will result in eviction and forfeiture of fees.

PETS ~ Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, no longer than 6 feet. 
Never leave a tethered dog unattended. Good behavior is required. Dogs of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave thePark, along with their owners. Pets are NOT ALLOWED on the beachfront or in the Playground. Always pick up after your pet. Registered “Camping” Pets, ONLY, are permitted over night inside the Park and must be under 25 pounds (strictly enforced). No Pets are allowed during Public Events.

The above policies are designed to provide you, your family, your guests and your property the safest visit possible. We ask that you please abide by them.
