Beautiful Thomas Point Beach, just off Route 24 in Brunswick, has much more to offer than just a day in the sun! Thomas Point Beach offers individuals, families, and groups of all sizes, a variety of exciting summer happenings. Here you will find a clean, sandy beach on tidal water overlooking relaxing Thomas Bay.
There’s a large, safe Playground Area available for kids of all ages. Also featured are 85 acres of beautiful lawns and picnic groves with areas to play Volleyball, Softball, and your favorite summertime games. Camping is very popular for local residents as well as people from all over the world.
Thomas Point Beach is ready to accommodate Family Picnics, Company Outings of all sizes, Reunions, School field trips, Weddings and Receptions, Private and Public Events, as well as Sports and Camping enthusiasts.
Thomas Point is the perfect place for SPECIAL EVENTS of all kinds. We have been the home site for the annual Maine Highland Games, 30 years of our famous Bluegrass Festival (retired in 2008 and returned in 2011 as the TPB "Bluegrass Special"), The Maine Arts Festival, Car Shows, Craft Shows, Radio Station Parties, Special Olympics, the Circus, events of all kinds and sizes. Thomas Point Beach receives "Mid-Coast
Regional Tourism Award", presented by the Maine Tourism Association.
This award is presented to honor those who have made a major contribution
to the promotion of tourism locally, regionally or statewide.

Thomas Point Beach receives "Event of the Year" Award by the International Bluegrass Music Association in Nashville, Tennessee. This award recognizes international events for their outstanding accomplishment and service to bluegrass music in the field of event production. - October 2008
The International Bluegrass Music Association honors Pati Crooker with its highest award, the "Distinguished Acheivement Award" in Nashville in 2009.
Thomas Point Beach awarded "Small Business of the Year" by the Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber in 2010, presented by Governor Baldacci. The park has been a Maine landmark for 54 years and Crooker Mulligan has been at the helm since 1972. Over the years the 85 acre facility has hosted the Maine Highland Games, Saltwater Music Festival, the Maine Festival and the Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival. When planning your day, be sure to bring your equipment for Softball, Horseshoes, Croquet, Frizbee, Kites and Volleyball. Game equipment is also available at the Caboose. You may bring your own gas or charcoal grill, chairs and beach umbrellas for your comfort.

If a day isn't long enough to take it all in, you are welcome to stay the night in the relaxing wooded Campground Area, overlooking peaceful Thomas Bay.

PARK "PET POLICY"
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, no longer than 6 feet.
Never leave a tethered dog unattended.
Good behavior is required. Dogs of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave thePark, along with their owners.
Pets are NOT ALLOWED on the beachfront or in the Playground.
Always pick up after your pet.
Registered "Camping" Pets, ONLY,
are permitted over night inside the Park and must be under 25 pounds.
No Pets are allowed during all Public Events.
